Azurite is a stunning deep blue mineral with a rich history and unique properties. Azurite forms beautiful prismatic or tabular crystals, often found alongside malachite, another striking green mineral. Its intense blue color, combined with its softness and perfect cleavage, makes it both aesthetically pleasing and interesting to study. As a copper carbonate mineral, it's also prized for its association with copper deposits. Whether displayed in its natural crystal form or used in pigments and artistic endeavors, azurite is a must-have for any mineral enthusiast's collection.

This example has a rich blue terminated crystal well centered and isolated on the contrasting matrix.   The luster is also good and you can easily see why azurite is considered to have one of the richest blue colors of all minerals.
