Chlorite Quartz

Awesome example of chlorite included quartz from Kharan, Pakistan. Great luster and color. We recommend mounting this piece on a small acrylic base with sticky tac, as pictured. The base is 1” x 1" and included with purchase. Sometimes sold as "Garden Quartz".

Chlorite quartz is a highly collectable mineral featuring quartz crystals with green chlorite inclusions. These inclusions often form in intriguing patterns, such as wispy clouds, layered phantoms, or sprays, adding depth and visual interest to the quartz. Collectors value chlorite quartz for these incredible inclusions and the interplay between the clarity of the quartz and the earthy green tones of the chlorite. It is typically found in hydrothermal veins and alpine clefts, with notable specimens coming from Brazil, the Swiss Alps, and Himalayan regions.  Sometimes it will have hematite included as well, creating a red color to accompany the green.  Sometimes sold as “Garden Quartz”.
