Fluorite, Magnetite, & Siderite

This is an incredible display of mineralization from the famous Chinese Yaogangxian Mine.  If you like fluorite and associated minerals, this is a great piece to add to your collection.  Check the video to see the stepped faces of partial octahedral magnetite crystals coating the surface of the matrix.  The fluorite has nice clarity which allows you to see the internal zoning or phantoms.  Lastly the excellently presented siderite crystals are common throughout the piece, displayed as small scale-like crystals.  From Yaogangxian Mine, China.  Acquired 2023.

Fluorite is a highly prized mineral among collectors due to its remarkable range of colors, crystal clarity, and unique properties. This calcium fluoride mineral crystallizes in the isometric system, often forming well-defined cubes. Ill-defined cubes, and occasionally octahedral shapes.
