Meteorite
Discovered in the Gran Chaco region of Argentina, Campo del Cielo meteorites, "Campo's", are fragments of an ancient iron-nickel meteorite that fell to Earth roughly 4,000 to 5,000 years ago. These metallic specimens are composed primarily of iron with traces of nickel and cobalt, displaying a natural fusion crust and distinctive regmaglypts (thumbprint-like indentations) formed during their fiery descent through the atmosphere.
Each piece is a genuine part of cosmic history, offering a tangible connection to the formation of our solar system. As with all of our minerals, no two pieces are alike, offering a truly one-of-a-kind gift for mineral collectors, Minecraft fans, geologists, and rockhounds alike. These are also great for space enthusiasts too!
Included with purchase is a miniature certificate which lists the mineral name and locality (a label).
