Quartz

This is a nice cluster of well defined quartz crystals with excellent clarity and luster.  The quality of the piece is very high, and although difficult to see in the video, the crystals will act as a refractive prism which splits light into a rainbow.  This effect is rare but can commonly occur with the high quality quartz from this locality.  It’s a precious piece!  From Boyaca, Colombia.  Acquired in Tucson 2023.
