About Wavellite
Wavellite is a rare mineral recognized for its distinct radial crystal habits and green color that when combined, resemble a slice of a lime. The spectrum of color can be a variety of greens and sometimes blues, but the most sought after specimens have a rich and unmistakable lime green color. The lime slice appearance actually occurs when the botryoidal crystal clusters are broken, with an intact crystallization not having the appearance. The majority of collectable specimens come from a small area in Montgomery County, Arkansas.
